What does ceramic coating actually do?
It creates a slick, hydrophobic layer that helps repel water, dirt, and contaminants while adding depth and gloss to glossy finishes. It makes routine care easier; it does not make paint maintenance-free.
Does ceramic coating stop rock chips or deep scratches?
No. Ceramic coating can improve resistance to light surface marks, but paint protection film provides the physical impact protection for chips, scuffs, and road debris.
Do I need paint correction first?
Not every vehicle needs the same correction. We inspect the finish first and recommend the preparation needed to improve the result before the coating seals the surface.
Can you coat XPEL paint protection film?
Yes. XPEL offers FUSION PLUS formulas made for paint and PPF. We match the coating to clear gloss film or use the SATIN formula for XPEL STEALTH and other non-gloss finishes.
What warranty comes with FUSION PLUS?
Qualifying packages carry XPEL limited product warranties ranging from one to eight years. Professional installation, registration, proper care, and required annual inspections apply. Coverage varies by product. Read XPEL’s warranty terms.
How long does the coating need to cure?
Initial cure instructions vary by formula. PREMIUM V2, CLASSIC, and PAINT & PPF should stay dry for six hours and reach full cure in three days. We will give you the exact instructions for your installation.
How should I care for a coated vehicle?
Wash regularly outside direct sun, work from the top down, and dry completely with a soft microfiber towel or blower. Avoid abrasive products and aggressive wiping. Annual inspections help maintain warranty eligibility.
Do you offer vehicle pickup and delivery?
Pickup and delivery may be available by prior arrangement for PPF and ceramic coating appointments. Ask when requesting your quote; we will confirm availability, transport details, and any additional cost before booking. Ask about pickup and delivery.
